Job & Career: social recognition reduces Burnout


Organisational structures, culture and behavior of colleagues and superiors are important influencing factors for Burnout at the workplace.

A new study raised by the Technical University of Chemnitz (DE) confirms this fact, resuming that an investment in the creation of a stress-reducing organisational culture is important.

In the EU-project BOIT die Berater® developed a burnout intervention training for Teamleaders and Managers, a specific training programme supporting managers to prevent working situations that promote burnout. All training material can be downloaded at the website:
